Then i left click, try to install, was asked for pw by gdeb, enter pw, and then i recieved this messaged : Then I got frustrated and right clicked the skype package which i downloaded to my desktop, clicked on properties, gave it permission to execute file as program and gave it read & write access then changed open with from archive manager to Gdeb. So i used "vim -r /etc/apt/sources.list" and it said recovery successful but how do i deleted the swap file? "/etc/apt/sources.list" 11 lines, 446 characters If you did this already, delete the swap file "/etc/apt/." To recover the changes (see ":help recovery"). If this is the case, use ":recover" or "vim -r /etc/apt/sources.list" (2) An edit session for this file crashed. If this is the case, be careful not to end up with twoĭifferent instances of the same file when making changes. (1) Another program may be editing the same file. While opening file "/etc/apt/sources.list" So i tried to paste : deb stable non-free in the terminal window where i seen my sources.list file but i must have done something wrong because when i restart up the terminal i get the following messageįound a swap file by the name "/etc/apt/."
